My Studio. Hello everybody, TL;DR : How are you all handling multiple monitors, room correction software and monitoring control? If I start using a room correction plugin and control room will be having that plugin on both sets of monitors - if I would like to have the room correction plugin only on the Adam's I'll need to flip a switch in the Control Room evertime I want to switch monitoring. Any solutions? I have an X-Touch mini and a Lemur template on a mini ipad, but I would hate to have a touchscreen volume knob.

Any solutions I'm missing? How do you guys this? Thank in advance, Herwig. Not sure how you're connecting your speakers, but in Nuendo as far as I recall you can simply do your monitor switching in Control Room and have individual plugin chains for the separate selections. You wouldn't be using your RME controller in that case of course.

And how do you control the volume? With your mouse or do you have a dedicated controller for that? I know I could switch in Cubase and using the separate chains, the problem lies in having a tactile controller for speaker selection and more importantly volume.

Hey guys this is a very interesting problem I have been looking at over the past year, I have blown a pair of monitors relaying on software signal management, its totally useless and unreliable I mean it will work fine until you press the button that sends 0dB straight to your monitors and your cones will end up in your lap like mine did. I am researching a unit that will deal with most of the problems mentioned above and to some extent allow multi chains and monitors to work with out needing a map.
